Installation Guide
This section will guide you how to install AI Vision Toolkit for OpenVINO (abbreviated AIVT-OV) and ensure that in LabVIEW running smoothly. Please follow the following steps strictly to avoid common mistakes.
System Requirements
Development environment (recommended for toolkit development)
Operating System:Windows 10(x64) and above.
CPUBased on Intel x86 architecture (recommend 10th generation and above processors).
Memory8GB (recommend 16GB and above).
Graphics: Intel graphics (integrated graphics such as Intel Iris Xe Graphics, discrete graphics cards such as A770).
Deployment environment (for running packaged programs)
Operating System:Windows 10(x64) and above.
CPUBased on Intel x86 architecture (recommend 10th generation and above processors).
Memory8GB (recommend 16GB and above).
Graphics: Intel graphics (integrated graphics such as Intel Iris Xe Graphics, discrete graphics cards such as A770).
Software Requirements
LabVIEW: >= 2018 (be sure to confirm 64-Bit).
Additional Kit: NI Vision Development Module(NI Vision Development Module). (optional)
Note: Used to run some examples (such as NIvision drawing).
VIPM: Version ≥ 2021, the VIPM(VI Package Manager) must be running as an administrator during installation to handle dependencies and toolkit settings.
Installation steps
Follow the steps below and install the tool kit.
⚠️ Please turn off all anti-virus software or security protection software in the computer before installation to avoid preventing the toolkit from writing to the system path;

Open VIPM as Administrator, double-click

Toolkit file, click Install. or in VIPM Medium:Click on Show Menubar→ Click on the menu bar

⚠If you encounter a prompt“This package is not compatible with any LabVIEW version on this computer”Please:
Make sure LabVIEW For 64 Bit and ≥ 2018
Make sure VIPM Upgrade 2021 or above, andRun as Administrator
choose to accept the License Agreement;
⚠️ If a black command line window pops up during installation, please wait 30 Seconds later click on the keyboard to enter or close the window to continue.
As shown in the following figure, the installation is completed and click Finish;
Here you have successfully installed using VIPMAIVT-OVNow you can start your deep learning journey in LabVIEW.
Post-installation verification
Open LabVIEW, enter: Block Diagram → Functions → Addons → VIRobotics → AI Vision Toolkit for OpenVINO

If the module cannot be found or the prompt cannot be found VI, please refer FAQ or contact technical support.
Common Installation Problems and Solutions
Q: Cannot double click .vip File installation?
A: Run VIPM as administrator and click Show Menubar🡪File🡪Open Package, select the package you need to install and click OK, Add To Library & Install to install.

Q: This appears during installation package is not compatible with any LabVIEW version on this computer ", what should I do if I cannot install the toolkit?
A: Please ensure that: - installed is 64 Bit LabVIEW 2018 and above versions; - is used VIPM 2021 and above, and run with administrator privileges.
Q: The installation process keeps showing Connect LabVIEW20xx, or stuck in command prompt cmd?
A:
Check if the computer has a command prompt cmd open
If open, wait for approx. 30 seconds, press keyboard enter to close cmd
Or click on the top right corner X Close the command prompt cmd window
Q: The installation process displays "Not Found VCRUNTIME140 1.d"
A: download and install vc runtime. Download link:vc runtime Downloadand double-click to run the VC_redist.x64.exe installation vc_runtime.
